Our Artificial Turf Installation Process

Step 1: Site Survey & Measurement

Our team visits your property, assesses the area to be turfed, takes precise measurements, and discusses your intended use, aesthetic preferences, and budget.

Step 2: Turf Grade Selection

We help you select the most appropriate turf product for your application — pile height, blade shape, density, and infill type all affect the look, feel, and performance of the finished lawn.

Step 3: Ground Preparation

Existing natural grass, weeds, or surface material is removed. The ground is excavated to create a level base, and any drainage issues are addressed at this stage.

Step 4: Sub-Base Installation

A layer of compacted crusher dust or sharp sand is laid and screeded to create a firm, flat, well-draining base for the turf. This is the most critical layer for the longevity and appearance of the finished installation.

Step 5: Weed Membrane

A permeable weed-suppressing membrane is laid over the sub-base to prevent any weed growth through the turf over time.

Step 6: Turf Laying & Joining

Turf rolls are laid in the correct direction, cut to shape using precision tools, and joined seamlessly with adhesive and joining tape. Edges are fixed securely with galvanised fixing pins or bender board edging.

Step 7: Infill Application & Brushing

Infill material (silica sand, crumb rubber, or organic options) is spread across the surface and worked into the pile using a power brush. This keeps the blades standing upright and gives the turf its natural appearance.

Step 8: Final Quality Check & Handover

We inspect the finished surface for level, seamless joins, and blade direction before handing over the installation with a care and maintenance guide.

Standard grade (25mm pile, good for landscaping): KES 2,500 – 3,200 per sqm installed

Premium residential grade (35mm pile, ultra-realistic): KES 3,200 – 4,500 per sqm installed

Sports grade (20mm pile, high-density): KES 3,500 – 5,000 per sqm installed
